Initiation Fee

A one-time fee of $65 is required for most memberships. (Memberships exempt from initiation fee noted below.)

Full-time Memberships

Allows access 5 a.m.–midnight, 365 days per year.

• Monthly $125
• Half-year (10% discount)
• Annual (10% discount; initiation fee waived)

Part-time Memberships

Allows access 5–9:30 a.m. & 6 p.m.–midnight weekdays, 5 a.m.–midnight weekends, 365 days.

• Monthly $70
• Half-year (10% discount)
• Annual (10% discount)

Temporary Memberships

• Limited access guest pass for on-site workshop facilitators and participants; please contact info@writersworkspace.com for rates and include details about your workshop affiliation.
• 10-visit pass allows full-time access 5 a.m.–midnight any day of the week for $125, plus a one-time initiation fee, good for 60 days from receipt of keycard. (Additional, future purchases of 10-visit passes or other memberships do not require another initiation fee.)

Members of other writing workspaces and of our community partners may inquire about possible community partnership discounts.

Membership Package

Both full and part-time membership packages include complimentary:

• Wifi access throughout the site
• Laser printer and photocopier usage
• 4 hours per month of private conference room usage for client meetings or member collaboration (additional hours available at discounted rate) for full and part-time members
• Access to Resource Library
• Access to Third Friday special events
• Opportunities to create special events or host own workshop offerings or book groups in conference room
• Discounts on workshops and additional offerings at Writers WorkSpace and through community partners
• Optional inclusion in Member Directory on our website with link to your own site and existing email address plus a brief bio, list of publications, and description of your professional services
• Day use of storage locker, subject to availability; storage locker with lock for $10/month, also subject to availability
• Access to fully stocked kitchen with complimentary coffee, tea, and water

Application

Writers WorkSpace application
Writers WorkSpace welcomes applications from fiction and nonfiction writers of serious intent as well as from lawyers, students, proofreaders, editors, translators, and other writing-related professionals. Publication is not required for membership.

Please fill out the application completely, including contact information for your references. Applicants can expect a response from the workspace within 48–72 hours but are welcome to inquire sooner.
